Ben & Kaitlyn’s original plan was to elope in New York City and then come home and throw a big party. But after finding out their plans couldn’t happen due to Covid-19 and travel restrictions, they decided to do a little elopement in the beautiful rocky mountains.

More unexpected problems arose after Kaitlyn ordered her dress in January promised it would arrive in July, well before her wedding date. Only to hit July with no word of the whereabouts of her dress. With all of the shutdowns and prioritizing of medical gear due to Covid-19, her dress had been drastically delayed. After emailing and calling for weeks she was prepared to settle for something less than her dream dress when her dress finally arrived two weeks before their wedding date with a small amount of time to get alterations done. Thankfully, Durand Bridal took great care of her and handle all alteration expenses and priority alterations.

As far as the location, with a little bit a research they found the prefect spot beside engine bridge for them and a few of their closest friends and family to do their ceremony. With incredible views of the mountains they said “I do” as a friend got a temporary license to officiate their big day with a script that was perfectly them.

A week after their ceremony they threw a small party at their new home to allow their friends and family to celebrate with them in a safe and responsible maner.

While I know it was not the wedding they had envisioned I know it turned out to be exactly them.
