Your wedding invitations can say a lot without saying much at all. Which is why it’s important to pick the right one. When first faced with the many options out there now a days for invitations and the way in which you send them out, it can seem daunting to choose the right medium.
It’s your guests first real look into what your wedding will be like and can set the expectations for the rest of your wedding. For example, someone who chooses to send out invitations with lots of lace and a save the date and a RSVP card and envelope can come across as having lots of money which could give their guests the impression that the wedding will be big and showy when the Bride only picked it because she thought it looked beautiful.
To avoid give guests the wrong idea it’s important to pick a wedding invitation that fits in with your theme.
The other problem Brides run into is trying to fit too much information onto the wedding invitation. People can only handle 3 important details at a time, more than that and they tend to forget. There are honestly so many ways to send your wedding invitations out without actually sending real paper and it can be incredibly hard to choose one. When I was getting married I researched and tried out several different wedding websites options and what I found was that far too many of them lacked all the need information I wanted to display for my guests.
Most of the websites were either too simple, too complicated or cost money. I started to give up until I told my fiance about the problem and he said a friend of ours who creates websites for a living used a certain website and that he had obviously done all the research before hand. So I tried it out and loved it! It was free, easy to use and had what I needed.

It is truly the best site I’ve found out there, and of course the best part is, It’s free. Yup, they don’t charge you to set up a website, they freely give it away with all of its beautiful features (of course they have to make money some way so some of the invitations cost money, but not all of them).
So why is this one better than all of the rest of them you ask? Let me tell you.
RSVP
The main and most obvious reason is that you can send emails out and have people RSVP on your website and it will keep track of the numbers for you. And if you happen to have anyone who is not tech savvy or born into a time where computers weren’t a thing you can get certain wedding invitations printed out so that you can still send them to those people. Once you get an answer you can easily input their response into the site for it to keep and hold safely instead of your brain, which has so many other things to keep track of. Also if you need to ask your guests certain questions you can have them fill it out here while they RSVP! For example, if they have allergies or if you want their mailing address!
Wedding Invitations
You still get to choose what you want your wedding invitations to look like. They may not have the biggest selection but honey less options is actually better for you, honestly. I’m sure there is at least one that you can find you like, don’t get frustrated.
Tell Your Story
Like I said I love this website for so many reasons and one of them is that they give you a sections to fill out how the two of you met and how he proposed, etc. You can choose to keep it on your website or not but the option is there and most people love to hear the story of how you met. Also this can save you from repeating yourself to everyone.
Tidbits
This part like the story section helps your guest feel like they are included in your excitement for your big day. It also helps all of those relatives and friends who only know one of you to get to know the other one a little better. I love getting to know couples and hearing all the little things. Also you could use the answers from your tidbit section to decided who goes first for dinner at your wedding, the people who took the time to read this section will feel glad they did when the questions come up!
Schedule
As a wedding planner myself I LOVED this part, because I am crazy organized and want everyone to know whats happening so I don’t have to tell them. It was so nice to give everyone a schedule to follow that they could have on their phones to look at so I didn’t get asked anything. It can give your bridal party reference as to what’s happening and helps guest know when they need to be places and where.
Registry
If you have or are planning on having a wedding registry (which by the way you should, asking for money is less appropriate for a wedding) the site gives you the ability to share that with your guest! They simple click the link and it takes them directly to your registry, without the hassle of trying to look it up.
Your Bridal Party, Q&A, Travel
You can also add your bridal party and a little info of each of them so everyone knows who they are. And if you are going somewhere complicated or have a lot of guests flying in from somehwere else you can let them know what airport, hotels even places to eat. And if you think there may be repeat question there is a Q&A section you can fill out to hopefully minimize the amount of people who contact you! It seriously makes life less stressful!
If all of these things haven’t convinced you to use this site the only other thing I can say is, its better for the environment if you use it. Less paper flowing around which would probably be thrown into the trash after your wedding is over anyway is always a better option. If that doesn’t matter to you, Hun you go right ahead and get those invites. Nobody is judging you and hey, its your wedding.
